Le Banquet is located in the South West of France, in the heart of the Perigord region and on the edge of the world famous village of Les Eyzies.
Welcome to Le Banquet! We’re Paul and Claire, and we’re so excited to share our little piece of paradise with you. Le Banquet is a 200-year-old hamlet that we’ve had the pleasure of calling home since 2022. After moving from Dorset, we’re thrilled to be in the beautiful Dordogne, living our dream and raising our two daughters here.
The Dordogne is a place we’ve both always loved. So, when the opportunity came to make this our home, we jumped at the chance! Le Banquet has been welcoming guests since 1999, and we’ve done everything we can to maintain its charm while offering you the best of both comfort and nature.
Here, you’ll find lovely gardens, a sparkling swimming pool, and a peaceful stream running through the property. We have 4 acres of land, perfect for games like rounders or simply enjoying the sunset. For the little ones, there’s a children’s play area, toys, and essentials like highchairs, travel cots, and stair gates to make sure you feel right at home.
We understand how important family holidays are, and we’ve designed the space with families in mind. With our backgrounds in international education and tourism, we aim to provide a welcoming, relaxed environment where you can truly unwind. And, if you’re a remote worker, don’t worry—reliable Wi-Fi is available in every gîte.
